i unlocked my 3G which is on 3.0.1 and had an o2 sim card inside using ultrasn0w with no problems though when i went to pop my vodafone sim card in it gave me a "different sim" message and told me to connect to itunes which i did, then it said that i cannot use the vodafone sim with the iphone because it is not an official carrier has anyone got a solution to this problem please!!
Thanks for any help!! |

why would you need to use ultrasn0w with o2? they are an official carrier.
Are you sure ultrasn0w is working as expected. the 3G uses wildcard activation so you should not need to activate again when swapping sim cards, you just need to ensure that the carrier lock is defeated. |

o2 is an official carrier. Why do you need ultrasn0w?
Did you hacktivate or activate with a legitimate o2 on an iPhone contract? |
