Default Help to unlock my 3G Plz!

Hello all, Hopefully someone can answer my question. I had to replace my iPhone under warranty and the new one I recieved was already at 3.1.2 and BB 05.11.07, I use Tmobile so I need to unlock it. Now to add even more confusion I do not have access to a Mac.

I wanted to know if this theory would work to unlock my phone.
1st: Jailbreak the phone using blackra1n so I have access to cydia
2nd: Fuzzyband my BB back to 04.26.08
3rd: Restore via itunes with a custom 3.1.2 IPSW from PwnageTool(or if I can, use cydia to get ultrasn0w with the Blackra1n JB)
4th: Unlock via Ultrasn0w

It seems like this would work b/c I have read info that says Fuzzyband can downgrade a 3Gs BB from a Blackra1n JB and that you can restore on windows as long as you have the IPSW. Any help would be much appriciated, I have to have my iPhone back ASAP for work purposes and not to mention my backup phone is an old POS.

As I sayd in the other post. it is more than unlikely that a replacement iPhone 3G comes with bl 5.8, I'd bet not. If bl >= 5.9 you're stuck concerning unlock.

The dev team generally say nothing until they have something to release. This is to keep Apple from fixing holes before the dev team can update their tools.

What the dev team have said so far on the 3.1 baseband has been negative. The holes they knew about from earlier firmwares are closed. The opportunity to find new holes is much smaller because apple has removed 50% of the baseband commands compared to the earlier baseband versions.
