Ultrasnowed 3Gs harmed by iTunes registration

I have bought a US 32GB iPhone 3Gs without AT&T contract. I redsnowed and ultrasnowed without any problems. I am using unlocked 3GS with a German T-Mobile sim in Germany now.

Everytime I start iTunes it asks if I would like to register the iPhone.
Does registration influence jailbreak or unlock? registration seem to be requiered to find my iPhone using mobile me.
Any experience?

you can register. works for me too! 3GS 16GB US Version, bought in bangkok, firmware 3.0.1 - no problems!

slowhead, how you managed to buy an iphone without the att contract?
