Hello all, I have a 32G 3Gs phone modem firmware 04.26.08 on AT&T.I have made a few attempts to get the phone unlocked but still cannot get it done, here are the methods I have tried;

• Restored with downloaded 3.0 FW
• Jailbreak with Redsnow
• Attempted Unlock with Ultrasnow .9

• Restored with downloaded 3.0 FW
• Jailbreak with Purple Rain
• Attempted unlock with Purplesnow rc2.

After completing each attempt I installed a T-Mobile SIM and both times I get invalid SIM. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong, any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Keep T mobile SIM inside and try readsn0W.

Turn Off 3G

Girish....are you suggesting that I start off jailbreaking with the T-Mobile SIM installed?

In other words restore with the downloaded 3.0 firmware, install T-Mobile SIM and proceed to jailbreak with redsn0w?

I also suggest you follow the iClarified - Apple News and Tutorials instructions to the letter and you should be good. The tutorial on their site is perfect.

You can even do the restore with the SIM already in the phone.
