I'm getting a new 3gs next week. I've seen few boxes and all of the are from week 42. I'm planning on taking lowest S/N. They are factory unlocked, from ERA Poland.
Any chance that this iphone will be with an OLD bootrom?
It's 16GB. Any chance to tell by the S/N apart from week number?

You need pre-week 40 to get the old bootrom.

As far as I know there is nothing in the serial that says it is factory unlocked.

I'm hoping that having to tether phone to reboot it will not be a major pain in the neck
