Does anyone have any info on the new bootrom in the new 3GS iPhone?
Is the DevTeam or GeoHot working on a untehtered jailbreak.
I am adding another iPhone to my AT&T account but I would
like to get some info on the Jailbreak situation for the new bootrom fist.

All parties are playing the cat and mouse game with Apple over this. By fixing the bootrom mid-cycle Apple has shown they are becoming more reactive.

If anyone has untethered jailbreak for the newest bootroms, I would expect it would not be released until AFTER the next iPhone model is released (ie next June) The current bootrom hole was leaked in Feburary 2009 and Apple started shipping fixed bootroms in October 2009. If Apple had not known about the current hole until June 2009, they may not have been able to respond with a mid-cycle fix like they have this time.
