Open txt files in Mobile Safari
Can someone help me: when I point my safari to a .txt file it does not open the file in safari but asks me either to download it or play it. Why is that? Shouldn't safari just open the file?

Safari can't download or view txt files. There are some tweaks/utilities that you find in Cydia - like iFile - that allow you to download files and view them - text, pdf, doc, mp4, 3gp, you name it.
Just search in Cydia.
