when the phone rings the backlight sometimes does not come on
ok, when i get a call sometimes i dont get the backlight with who call light up and other times it does for like one ring then does dark! i can make it light back up if i hit the home button? anyone else having the same issues, and how to fix? thanks

Started having this problem with my iPhone 3G[S] when I got it, but I haven't noticed it since I installed 3.0.1 .... Don't know if that fixed it, but I definitely had the same problem -- it wouldn't light for phone calls and also wouldn't always light for SMSs.
