They are IPSW's and you can get them from Apple click Restore on you iTunes and if you don't have it it will download it...

Hi
One you can see the extension .zip you Just right click the firmware & select rename option, then remove the .zip so that the file name ends in ipsw

When you download the file, it will be recognized by windows as a .zip file. As I said, show the extensions of the files, and you'll see that the file's name is "
iPhone2,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.zip" so just change .zip to .ipsw Cheers
