Is it possible to view home security camera by iphone 3gs?
I have 3gs that it's jailbroken, and i'd like to know if i can view my security camera by my iphone. If yes, please walk me through. Really appreciate in advance.

That is a great idea! Now we're talking about using an iphone for what it was meant.

I'm fairly sure I read about an app that does this a while ago (maybe on Engadget or Gizmodo?). I think it was an official one in Apple's app store. If I remember correctly, it allows monitoring more than one security camera, for systems with multiple cameras. I was planning on using it once we install our new home security system, but forgot the name now.

But, my memory could be totally wrong too.

If anyone finds the name of it again, could you please post here for the rest of us. Thanks.

If the iPhone was meant to be used for this I am sure Apple would have included an application for it, primarily though it is still (just a) phone

If you would have done a quick and simple google search on the subject you would have found numerous hits, iCam and YumiCam are two examples of apps that can do the trick. Both available in the app store.

Hmmm...I thought it's a hand-held computer that just happens to have some phone functions.
