recently i bought a used iphone 3G, the guy gave me the phone with 3.1 OS with specification as mentioned in the title.

When i downgraded my phone to 3.0.1 and got locked and it was asking for original sim and
now i tried to jailbreak with Redsn0w - that was successful.
initially got struck with jailbreaking because i was using a wrong OS restore
actually i was trying with iPhone2,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw which is wrong one and didnt work
but successful with this download - iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw link is as follows iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw - Wuala, social online storage

and tried to unlock with Ultrasn0w throught Cydia - again struck here. its not allowing me to unlock, thought i should downgrade baseband and tried with fuzzyband 3.1 gm it says baseband version ICE2-05.11.07 -downgrading will only work with Baseband Bootloader 05.08
is there a fuzzyband tool for OS 3.0.1?

i tried to downgrade bootloader 05.09 - i could not find tool to downgrade,
can some one help, or is it end of unlocking?
Dev-team or some one please help.

can't solve still now
you can only use rebel sim, or some other generated unlock sim

iPhone next year probably will follow suit. As of today the OS3.1 doesn't have it. Will most likely need the hardware to support it.
