Default 3.1 - major issues

I updated to 3.1, big mistake but lucky for me I had the iphone dev team on my side. 3.1 started OK however within a few hours it was apparent something was wrong, battery would got flat in six hours and then the coma started...

For no reason, the iphone would go black - only a hard reset would sort it! Looks to be a big deal with 3.1 to, word is apple are going to fix this next Thursday!

For me, I downgraded to 3.0.1 which is back to normal so word of caution for those looking to 3.1 their iphawn, stay away until 3.1.1 comes out

Thanks dev team!

I haven't noticed all the problems you seem to have had, but I have to agree with you on the battery

Both my 3G & my 3GS battery life on 3.1 haven't been up to there normal stand.

You are lucky my friend, iPhone coma 5 times a day is not fun... reverting back to 3.0.1 was a good move, battery back to par and no coma - awesome

Upgraded my 3G iphone 4 hours ago to 3.1 everething seems perfectly fine and battery life seems normal. They also fixed the bug when SMS screen would freeze for few seconds before opening up.

I just pick one iPhone 3G with a locked 3.1 fw (05.11.07 modem).

Is it possible to simply downgrade it to 3.0.1? in this case, Just following the iClarified tutorial for jailbreaking/unlocking is the way to go, or there's something else to do?
