I came across this and wondered if anyone tried it with any luck. I had updated my 3g to 3.1 and am now having to use my old Krzr at the moment. If this works I would be able to JB & Unlock it to use on T-mobile. Anyone seen or tried this?

If you have the 05.11 Baseband from the 3.1 fw your stuck because there is no unlock available for that version.

Your correct but pwnagetool builds a custom IPSW that neuters the BB update so process, that way you end up with a hybrid install (i.e 3.1 firmware with the 3.0's 04.26 BB)

Ultrasn0w is what unlocks the device but that only works with the 04.26 BB not the 05.11 BB that comes std with 3.1 firmware.
