Hi I bought a 3g iphone from my friend. I bought a pay as you go phone I have connected the pay as you go sim card and also pick the media net 1gb to see if the iphone would work but it does not. I dont understand what else do have have to do to get it to work I was told to buy the pay as you go sim card and it would work with the iphone and i did everything i was told bit it does not work it saids no service so please help me on what do i have to do for it to star to work i need help please im going crazy.

what FW are your using? if you updated to 3.0.1 then chances are you will not be able to use a pay as you go. There is a thread around here with more info in it.. AT&T caught on to the use of pay as you go sims and have changed the way the data plan works. I don't think you will be able to use it.

did you mean any sim as in any sim card or the anySim app lol hopefully any sim card cuz the app hasnt been used since iphone 2g with 1.1.1 os
