The MMS capabilities of OS3.0 don't seem to be "up to par" with Swirly2 on my 2.2 OS.
I'm on T-mobile USA, and using Swirly2 and User Agent NOKIA N95 - I always got big beautiful hi-res pictures through MMS (swirly2 MMS). now on OS3.0 and the built-in MMS "messages", I'm getting poor quality images in, they are barely legible. I'm sure this is because of the user agent - but I've tried entering in the url for Nokia N95 (same one from swirly2) but they still come in terrible. Anyone figure this out yet? I know its not T-mobile, since I used to get them much nicer looking with Swirly... I'm sure its a setting, I just don't know what or where (yet). ![]() ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. |

From the research I did, and poking around in Swirly, this is the url swirly used for Nokia N95 user agent. And it worked on swirly to get big pictures from T-mobile MMS servers. I've also used different user agents on Symbian phones (e90 for example) to get larger sized picture messages. I've used the Nokia N95 user agent because I know it works. It works on Swirly2 and T-mobile USA and it also worked on my Nokia E90 using Yapn an T-mobile USA. Both results gave me big images from the T-mobile MMS server.. This is NOT the case on the iPhone.
http://<b>http://nds1.nds.nokia.com/...-1r100.xml</b> BUT I didn't see ANY change in image quality of received MMS pictures.

Hmm that is the same string i use on my xperia when it was getting small pics, and it works on that phone. I tried to use it on the iphone but still does not work. Maybe there is another file some where we have to edit?
