VPN on demand?

Anybody got an idea on how to enable/utilize the VPN on demand feature? The new vpn is much more "aware" of whether it is on or off, and I'd like to set it up so that the Mail app fires up the VPN when it fetches. It's described as a new feature, but I can't tell whether it's purely programmatic or capable of being set somehow by a user.

Yes I need this feature as well. For example I am browsing via wifi and loose wifi and switch to 3g I would like the VPN connection to be automatically re established. Any ideas anyone?

Another piece of bad news about 3.0 (beta 4 at least): the Cisco VPN now defaults to "ask every time" for the user password, meaning that you can't set it to be automatically entered....

It has always defaulted to "ask every time", however, once you put a password in, it stores that and keeps it. It just shows "ask every time" until a password is put in. Did it ask you after you put your password in? Mine works perfectly fine on B4...

Too bad this does not work with RSA token-based authentication... 8)
