3.0 Beta 2 Unofficial Jailbreak
Has anyone tried this yet?
Translated version of http://www.iphoneapps.ru/?p=7447 http://quickpwn2-2-1.googlecode.com/...N-30-beta2.zip Seems to be windows only, and is not dev-team released, but it should work...

No luck with parallels btw, I'm going to have to find a real pc
 (My only pc is a hackintosh.. and i don't have a working windows setup on that atm )

but what about upgrading the baseband?
will this method keep my 2.28 baseband (and in this way the phone is still sim-lock free) or may be it's also updating to 3.0 beta 2 baseband?

Works just fine. Weird purple BG entire time, but phone came out the other end OK.
Not sure I like Icy, but I guess it will do for now. iPhone 2G 3.0 beta 2

jb went fine, ssh doesnt work though
 but hey at least its a start. its a shame cant plugin the bundles from quickpwn into pwnagetool to cut out winbloze but hey beggars cant be choosers. (yes i did try)iPhone 3G 3.0 beta 2 Last edited by nitosoft; 04-02-2009 at 11:11 AM.
