yeh ssh still wont work for me either, i tried installing the bash and z shells and that didnt seem to make any difference, even after rebooting the phone. i did get netatalk working which is nice for swapping in some files, but it wont suffice for when i need to change permission and ownership on things.

I got OpenSSH installed very easily through Icy...it downloaded and installed OpenSSH and OpenSSL as its dependency.
After that, I logged in through Terminal (ssh root@192.168.1.x), got the Host Key Mismatch error, then opened up CyberDuck. Logged in and downloaded/replaced my CalendarColors.plist for custom Exchange Cal colors without an issue.

SSH partially works.
Transferring files with WinSCP does work correct, but when opening a putty terminal screen it does not work. missing some library files i think.

Has anybody tried to downgrade back to 2.2.1 from the unofficial jailbroken 3.0 beta 2?

yes i went through my process earlier in this thread, the same process that worked in beta 1 to to get to 2.2.1 works for beta 2 RE: ssh, yeh i thought people meant it was working as in actually sshing in, i didnt think people would equate scp working to ssh completely working, i try to ssh in before i try scping

my 2G unlocked freezes after installing apps via icy and rebooting, it just hangs at the apple logo, i went through updating and downgrading to 2.2.1->3.0b2 about 4 times today.. only MXTube and a couple other apps i tested worked. the rest just open and close suggesting permissions issues and missing frameworks or access to those frameworks.
