(sorry how crude this guide is, but i am getting the basics down now, going to edit it, and make it pretty later)
Alright so this is my setup: MoBo: GA-MA770-UD3 Procc: AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core 2.70ghz Ram: 2 Gigs VC: Nvidia 7300 LE SC:Audigy Value 2 North Chipset: AMD 770 South Chipset: AMD SB700 Onboard Audio(I dont use):Realtek ALC888 Onboard Lan(i use): Realtek 8111C Running Sata Hard Drive, & Dvd Drive Now I installed with I deneb 1.4 with osx 10.5.6 first thing first, went to bios, and turned on sata, if u need help with that let me know and ill post how i did that on my board in the ideneb install I selected Voodoo 9.5 with the seatbelt fix no sound drivers, select just the inject that matches your card, mine being 256mb selected my chipset ati sb700 and the realtek ethernet drivers after install download: worked perfect on my audigy 2 value with a simple install thats it Creative SB [Live!, Audigy, Audigy2, EMU10kX eDSPs] OSX Driver info here! - InsanelyMac Forum mmk now install mmk now its done, u can reboot n see if osx actually boots, but it didn't on mine so I'm gonna go threw with what i did.... now put ur windows 7 dvd in, let it load, then when the install button appears, under it, it says repair, click that, let it repair, now boot back into windows 7 Install macdrive 8 in windows, to be able to edit the mac drive inside windows, after installing it, go to your mac drive, then go to system/library/extensions, now u will be in the folder with all the mac kexts(drivers) now delete all the geforce kexts, anything starting with GE, then delete all the kexts starting with NV, then close that and reboot to leopard, if you need help getting the leopard drive active let me know, there is a program for windows to make it very easy... now boot leopard, but input -v -x before booting, now osx should boot, and take u to the desktop with the internet working if you selected the right drivers, in there u need to download 9f23 and efistudio from: NVinstaller.com - Downloads, if the d/l aren't working on those, go to google n search for the file name, n u should be able to find them on rapid share or something after u install those, do NOT reboot go to efi studio, and select the 7300 from the driver list, and install those to the apple. w/e thing now we are going to go to the system/library/extensions/ again, and we are going to delete some stuff follow this to a T NVDAResman.kext (required) NVDANV50Hal.kext (required for GeForce 8 series) NVDANV40Hal.kext (required for GeForce 7/8 series) NVDANV30Hal.kext (required for GeForce 5 series and some GeForce 6 series) NVDANV20Hal.kext (not required, for older cards, supported on PowerPC Macs only) NVDANV10Hal.kext (not required, for older cards, supported on PowerPC Macs only) GeForce3GLDriver.bundle (not required, for older cards, supported on PowerPC Macs only) GeForce2MXGLDriver.bundle (not required, for older cards, supported on PowerPC Macs only) GeForceVADriver.bundle (required) GeForceGA.plugin (required) GeForceFXGLDriver.bundle (required) GeForce8xxxGLDriver.bundle (required for GeForce 8 series) GeForce.kext (required) keep everything that says its for the 7000 series, then anything that is just required, delete everything else that doesn't need to be kept for ur card. ok i never tested the video card, with just that alone, so just that could install the graphics, and fix the boot problem, but im not sure... I did one more step, and downloaded kexts from a forum post, that a guy made just for his 7300 LE, i cannot find that post now, so I think I am going to have to upload my own kexts, because there the same ones, can anybody help me out with were is the best place to upload these? ok after i installed my kexts, i booted, and my video was perfect, and was running on hardware not software, and everything worked GREAT, and still is I know this post is ugly right now, but i am busy so I did this quick to get the basics down, cuz i want to help asap, if you need those kexts asap, post or message me, and I will email them to you, only 1 person helped me after posting so many posts, and the only person to help was icchansan, and i promised him id post a guide to help out the community, and help anybody who messaged me for help so feel free ![]() thanks and tonight or tomarow i will touch this up and make it neat and pretty lol thanks guyz |
