got it installed using external DVD and External hard drive, installed it to external hard drive and got all the way to the transfer information screen after the reboot, after that when you click continue it just loops back to the original screen that it showed after reboot, its like initial screen, file transfer screen, then click, blank screen, then back to the original screen, over and over... i got the same thing with my mini 9, not sure what im missing...

btw its a brand new nb205 and using ideneb 10.5.5 dvd

What's going on JBauer. I installed OSX Leopard and upgraded it to 10.5.7. This is what I have working on my Toshiba NB205 Hackintosh:

Sound (with full volume control)
Mic (The mic registers when you put the master volume on recording input)
Webcam
Multi-touch track pad
USBs all work
Battery indicator

I am actually on it right now typing up this reply. I'm currently using a rocketfish USB Bluetooth dongle and using my iPhone as an aircard at the moment. I have yet to get the wireless working and time machine. I believe those are the only two features that don't work yet. I'm pretty satisfied with the performance of OSX on the Toshiba. Enjoy the image I provided:

Yay, details please! What distro, any special kexts, etc.? How's startup time? What isn't working?

EDIT: sorry, it's implicit in your post that Bluetooth, Wifi, and Time Machine aren't working, but is sleep working?

Sleep seems to be working fairly well. I've been playing with it all day and it's being very good. So this is what I used:

1. iDeneb v1.3
2. OSX essentials pack
3. Quartz upgrade pack
4. MACOSX upgrade pack

I don't think there are any specials kexts you need, but maybe a combination of how you install and what kexts you use while installing in a sequence. These are the same set of data I used to get my HP Mini 1000 1030NR working from top to bottom. I noticed someone on here got to the transfer screen where it looped them back to the beginning. There are two ways you can get out of that loop. One is the obvious and use the terminal and enter a series of commands to bypass that or Two, you can use the easy way out and install two patches when customizing the install using iDeneb. These two patches would be the Broadcom patch and Tiger patch under the networking folder. This will get you passed the loop without entering command lines in the terminal. Once you get through that part, it's a piece of cake in terms of getting it up and running. Of course, as of right now, those are the three items that don't work (Time Machine, built in wireless/bluetooth components). When I have more time, i will add the procedures I went through to install it on the NB205.

Okay here's an update. I did some research on how to make my NB205 wireless and found a program which will allow certain wifi chip sets to work on OSX. Bought a Netgear usb wifi adapter during lunch time to later find out it didn't work. I then bought a Linksys usb wifi adapter and voila! I now have wireless on my Toshiba NB205. So now it's pretty much a complete package. I actually have a Macbook Pro and HP Mini 1000 1030NR (Hackintosh) so I'm not too worried about using Time Machine on the Toshiba. It's fantastic. I'm going to start cleaning up my notes so I can post up the install.

What was the trick?

Whenever you have a chance, please post a guide...I'm still trying to get a handle on all of this, so a bit of a 'install for idiots' if you can!
