Mac OS X Leopard on Toshiba NB205 Netbook - Page 28

After using the 10.5.8 Combo UPdate and reinstalling all the kexts, Sleep no longer works and I no longer have the tracpad anymore.

Any suggestions?

That's really weird. Well there are to 10.5.8 updates. I manually downloaded the 10.5.8 combo update dmg. Both features work on mine still. Any other symptoms? What did you do? Did you use the automatic software update?

Well I backed up all of my extensions in that folder. Did an automatic software update and when sleep and trackpad did not work, I tried the combo update and then they still did not work. even tried restoring the extensions and that also did not help.

I put up my update steps in text form like 3 or 4 posts ago. Try to follow those. That's what I did and mine still works fine.

Since 10.5.8 Cover View in itunes does not work -- Someone else confirm that?

Checked my cover flow in iTunes and it works on 10.5.8.
