Hey Riblowski, can you please post a zip file of your Kexts that you placed in your EFI partition on mediafire or 4shared?

It seems like you have a great vanilla install going.

I'm like 80% there, but I can't figure out what I'm missing or if my kexts are wrong.

There are reported issues with 10.5.8 so it may be worth while holding back for now.

For me, I just noticed that Sleep/Wake has stopped working (confirmed on other h/w), and other reports of external drive booting issues, loss of Time Machine and disappearing Airport cards.

Okay, after the update I found that all my applications and the rest of the functions work just like in 10.5.7. All I have to check is Time Machine. I don't think I will have any problems with it, but I will have to get back to everyone once I tested. I was messing around with the MAC205 while I was on vacation and needed to re-install everything. It was great time because there was a new release of OSX. So here are my steps in short:

1. Re-installed iDeneb v1.3
2. Patched everything with UInstaller
3. Restart
4. Applied 10.5.8 update combo
5. Applied VoodooPS2 update
6. Restart
7. Installed all kexts according to my guides
8. Everything is working just like it would with the 10.5.7 combo update

I haven't tested Time Machine, but I shouldn't have any problems at all.

Default regarding wifi

hello i barely found this thread today and i have read it nonstop and i'd like to give kudos to wingzero619 and few other members that are contributing to this thread (i bought the toshiba nb205 without knowing and well i intend on using the iphone sdk so this is a godsend!)
i was wondering if anyone has tried this out for the wifi (none of these tutorials are mine!):

InsanelyMac Forum > Atheros AR5005(G)

or this

Howto: Usar una inhalámbrica Atheros en OS X | Magarto

Default um...

Wingzero? I can't seem to get a hold of the NB205 Essentials Package that's with your tutorial there, your uploading site states that it isn't available...
...hmm...

...am I the only one experiencing this or did you upload it to someplace else that I haven't stumbled upon in this thread?

Also, I can't seem to find myself a good torrent for Ideneb, can anyone help me with this?

Planning on getting myself a Toshiba NB205 and simply wanted the stuff ON my desktop computer before I bought it so that I could carry out everything without waiting. I'm a linux user, so, torrenting is pretty common place for me but for some reason a good one eludes me and my normal channels; plus I'm a noob at anything to do with a Mac >.<

Thanks ahead of time

Edit:

Also, what are the differences between Ideneb v1.5 and 1.3? Does it matter which one I use? I'm just finding it odd that they have different version numbers but (from the sound of it) you can get both with the most up-to-date version of Leopard

I got my external DVD drive today and followed your guide and its working perfectly now =D Running 10.5.7 atm. I'm might buy a new wifi card soon as well unless someone can get the stock one to work.

Also if i did buy a wifi card could someone recommend me a good one. I live in Australia btw. I think a few pages back someone said a Dell 5100 card or something was good.

Thanks, Jasen

EDIT: Just installed Chameleon 2.0 RC2 since im dual booting Windows 7 and OS X, looks nice =D
EDIT 2: Hmm when i restart the screen just goes black and i have to force turn it off? I think it must have started after i installed Chameleon.
EDIT 3: I reinstalled the kexts and it fixed it, so its all good now

There's a mini bluetooth usb adapter on http://ihavetohavethat.com today. I've never dealt with them before, but I ordered a few. I got tired of having bluetooth go away whenever I put the computer to sleep.

I'm having trouble right now getting the microphone to work in ichat. I can tweak the settings so I can hear it in my headphones, but I can't get the right combination to get it to work with ichat. Anyone get that working?

I'm currently using the apple wifi board, but I have a dell 5100 on the way.

edit: whoops, http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11866 is the same thing, for a lot less
