Edit, no matter, found the guide again and saw it has cpus=1 fix enabled. Anyone tried voodoo kernel and does it affect the ability to sleep and wake?

Vanilla kernel works fine without any parameters. My setup is pure vanilla installed from a 10.5 retail disk with the 10.5.7 combo update. The only kext I have in S/L/E is the ClamshellDisplay, everything else is in an EFI partition using Chameleon.

@Newbie1, extended desktop works fine, you can set the resolution as needed, it's mirrored that doesn't work (generates a garbled display on both netbook and external).

BTW Wake only works when opening the lid if power is plugged in. You need to wake from the power button when running on batteries.

My trackpad just stopped working any ideas how to restore this?

You can also enable 'wake on keyboard' in the BIOS. That way, you can wake by pressing space or any other key.

Try to re-install the voodoops2 package. This should help.

When that happened to me, I had hit function f9. Try that to re-enable it

I installed os x using the iDeneb 1.4. I have everything working accept a few things. 1. Wifi. i am waiting for the chip in the mail. 2. the mouse is super sensitive and no multi touch. 3. mic but i no that doesnt work. 4. the battery thing looks weird and it goes down really fast. If anyone has a fix for any of this please let me no asap.

FYI Just updated to 10.5.8 with no issues.
