The Bluetooth kext doesn't work for me. My machine may very well not have Bluetooth enabled. But it's okay since the tiny USB dongle works just fine (even if it's unfortunate that I have to keep reinstalling the Mighty Mouse each time I wake the computer or restart it).

Thanks anyway.

I'm completely new to OS X, and am just wondering what sort of effort is involved in getting something like the external video to work. Can someone take a moment to explain the thought/diagnosis process for something like this? I'm just curious.

All my software experience is in the applications/enterprise architecture area, and I've never had to do more on the hardware side than apply vendor o/s patches and update drivers before.

Thanks.

It's a case of trying out all the different available drivers for the graphics chipset. As far as I know there are 3 versions of GMA950, laptop, desktop and "rare". But that's not all. Also look for newer versions, try older versions, experiment with efi strings and possibly even getting graphics to work through DSDT patching. So you need a fair bit of time...

The external video works, I'm using Mac on two screens of different resolutions.. it's the video MIRRORING that doesn't work at present.

BT doesn't work after coming out of sleep. Anyone got ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,

How do you get sleep working with opening and closing the lid so that I don't have to hit the button each time?

Thanks.

Do you have clamshelldisplay.kext installed? That's the kext that controls it as far as I know.

One more question for everyone, does it run vanila kernel without the need for cpus=1 at boot, or is it on voodoo?
Edit, no matter, found the guide again and saw it has cpus=1 fix enabled. Anyone tried voodoo kernel and does it affect the ability to sleep and wake?

Hey guys,

Any idea on how to get the multitouch scrolling to work ?
I do have the trackpad prefpane, but multitouch doesn't work. I have the VoodooPS2 kb+trackpad drivers installed.

For me, it's hit or miss whether the multitouch works. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, and I have no idea what the difference is.
