Again, the symptom that I see is the system seeming to sleep when I close the lid or press the power button and choose "sleep", but after 1 second jumping back to life. One note, when it comes back on, 0s start popping into any active text window, almost as if the "0" key is stuck, until I press Esc, then things act normal. Very odd.
Interesting. I'm working on a completely Vanilla install with the latest Chameleon RC2 and have the same issues. The BIOS reverting back to Mode1 must be on everyone's notebook, no?
In my case I can sleep from the Menu, and on wake often have the 0's appearing. It then has trouble shutting down afterwards... Your problem is solved by correctly installing the VoodooUSBEHCI kext. You also have to modify the plist in your IOUSBFamily kext per the instructions for the Voodoo kext.

Sleep via the lid is not working at all, despite putting in the ClamshellDisplay kext in the EFI partition. Mmmm...

Hey guys,

I've been looking around for a replacement for my 12" iBook for a while now. A short while ago, the NB200 (the europe model) came to my attention. When i found out that it can run OSX pretty well (which was one of my requirements), i was convinced of the NB200's value ;-)

I've been following this thread for a few days and just picked up my NB200. Going to install OSX somewhere this weekend, ordering a 1510 wifi card and 2GB mem module later. Can't wait to play with OSX on this little machine ;-)

@wingzero619: Thanks for all of your hard work on this project thus far! I've been lurking on this thread for the last week and a half and picked up my own NB205 about a week ago. It's the perfect machine for writing on the go, and discovering how easy it was for you to drop OSX on it has inspired me to make the leap myself. I think I'm going to make it happen over the weekend, so I'd like to get access to the install videos you uploaded - I've sent a friend request from my same-named account on Youtube.

Looking forward to a functioning Mac, and I'm also interested in seeing how Riblowski's retail disc install turns out. Hope the sleep issues are solved soon..

Default iDenev 10.5.7 Install Works!

Here's how I installed to my nb205.

1) Insert the iDeneb Disk
-wait for it to boot
- select disk utility
-do 1 partition (select guid under options)
-name your partition
-click partition
-agree to the terms
-select the HD you want it installed to

2) Customize the install
-Install the essential system
-install appleazaliaaudio under driver->audio
-install broadcom under network->wireless
-click done
-click install
-optional: click skip disk verification
-wait for the install to complete

3) Download the nb205 essential pack that Wingzero put out

4) Open Osx86tools
-enable quartz gl
-reboot

5) Install all the master kexts in the nb205 essential pack
-use osx86tools to install
-also install all the quartz kexts except the intelgma950 kext in the nb205 essentials
-restart
-after restart go to system->library->extensions->appleazaliaaudio.kest and delete it.
-restart

6) install the ps2trackpad kext located in the forums
-restart

7) press f2 during startup and disable legacy usb and usb plug and charge

8) You're set. This is what I did and I have the following working:
-Wifi(swapped chip)
-Ethernet
-Sleep works perfectly (when i shut the lid it goes to sleep)
-Webcam works except in photobooth
-Usb ports work
-bluetooth works (bought an adapter)
-Battery icon works(only has an x sometimes) (just shut the lid and open it and i found that this works)
-multitouch trackpad works
-time machine works
-brightness works
-Core image and quartz extreme work after following those steps to get webcam to function properly

Let me know if you find this helpful and if it works for you. Also let me know if you guys find anything that doesn't work.

Thanks for the great guide wingzero, none of this would be possible without it.

Default Thank you...

to all who have used my materials and have benefited from one of the best Hackint0sh conversions ever. I do apologize for the lack of communication on the this thread. Please don't think I abandoned it. For some reason, I stopped receiving email notifications and missed about 2 pages worth of responses. I won't have that much access during the weekend because I'll be out on a mini vacation. As a prize for everyone, I will make the videos public before Saturday. Again, thank you for sharing your success and failures. That's how we all learn.

EDIT: All videos are public now. Hail Pork!

@practicingk: Glad I can help in your endeavors. I haven't heard the phrase "lurking" in such a long time. Well I'm glad you did all the research and got some inspiration to create what may be the best Hackint0sh to date. My videos on YouTube are now public, so you can watch them. Let me know how the project comes out. Take it easy. BTW, the sleep issue is not a problem at all. It's just a matter of changing a couple of things in the BIOS.

@BJS: Good luck with the install. Make sure to post up your success and or failures. We're always trying to learn the best method to install OSX!

I only have this problem after coming out of sleep. Retstart fixes it...very odd and I have no idea what it is. Did you do anything besides deleting AppleAzaliaAudio.kext?

Multitouch also is not working after i install voodooPS2Trackpad, with no controls over the tracking speed (which the install also changes). Ive read back through the forum and am not the only one with this issue.

Thanks for all of the help! It has been invaluable in creating the best netbook hackintosh i've seen (after fixing the WiFi of course)

This is completely unrelated, but I have found geektool to be very useful in displaying various forms of information
