Cannontrane, when I try to install via your method everything works until I get to the iDeneb disk and when it boots cause I think the first disk installs some stuff, my screen starts flashing like crazy like the graphics card is going weird. It doesn't do that when in windows since I want to dual boot.

Thanks.

Are you booting to iDeneb by booting first to the BootCD, then iDeneb with the -v and -f flags?

I just tried to repeat your results, but it's not happening.

When I boot to the BootCD, Press F8, Press Esc, Switch CD with iDeneb v1.5 DVD, press enter, Press F8, add "-v -f", press enter, and wait - it boots right into iDeneb, without any issues.

This sounds like an interesting approach. I've been working and trying to follow the thread. I might take a shot at it today if I have time. My co-worker brought me a Broadcom WiFi chip to play with today. I'm going to test it and see if it works. It's a Broadcom BCM94311MCG. Well, that's what I see on the sticker lol. Okay, back to work.

Just installed the Broadcom WiFi chip I got from my co-worker. It worked like a dream. Trading it off for the original Artheros chip now lol. I tried using the boot132 but had no luck. I get hung up at the cosmic screen. Oh well, I'll give it another shot when I have more time.

Anyone looking for a drop-in replacement to the Atheros wireless should look at the Dell 1510 broadcom wireless chip. It's the same half-height card as the Atheros and can be picked up on eBay for around $25. It is recognized natively by the vanilla OS without any special kexts. If you need to save a few $, the Dell 1390 card also works natively but is full height and although there is space inside the case of the NB205, the screw holes are placed for a half-height card. Oh, and BTW the 1510 is 802.11 a/b/g/n whereas the 1390 is only b/g. I've tried both, they both work fine, but I'd spend the extra $7 for the 1510 to have the half-height card.

Are you using iDeneb 1.5 or 1.3?

I am able to boot into the iDeneb just fine. When I am installing the screen starts flickering and going sideways all crazy and then its fine. Just random intervals like that. I don't know whats wrong, but I'll see if it happens at the conclusion of the installation. Great Guide.

Update. I got it installed but it would show a blue screen after the apple loading screen.

I'm actually using the retail dvd. I tried this method a while back when I first started learning how to hackint0sh but had no luck. I'll give it another shot when I have more time.
