Yep, part 3 is gone. Can someone reupload it please?

Just saw that MD5 from rapidshare matches so no need to reupload.

This is just loading forever on my mashine with Vm Player.

Is there a workaround if my cpu does not support 64 bit longmode?

On my Computer it takes about 2 minutes to Boot.
It is slow and is only a temporary solution so i suggest using a real hackintosh.
Try leaving a comment on PCWIZ's site for support with booting issues.

Sorry,

Is dual-booting, MBR and partions confusing you?
Then this should help!
Use this great tutorial HERE <-- Link

Information
  • It is all set up and works straight after downloading !
  • All you need to do is Download VMWare PLAYER which is free from HERE and the Leopard Files which is linked to in the tutorial.
  • Now you can download it via torrent. (Thanks peu)
  • Just thought I'd tell you guys since everyone's having issues dual booting..
  • USB is unstable
  • I got ethernet to work !!!!!!! (Link)
  • I've got one of my USB Memory Stick's to work, so USB works a little...
  • There are issues with Xcode as well so use try the iphone SDK at your own risk.
  • I think you just don't install CHUD Tools but be careful!
  • This is just for seeing what a Mac is like, if you like it then buy a real mac!!

Questions
  • What is Vmware ? - Vmware is a program that allows you to run a virtual computer. So instead of actually having to install it on a seperate drive or dual-booting you can just launch this program inside Windows and start using Leopard!
  • Do i need to set any thing up? - No! It's works straight after downloading. Ethernet settings need to be edited but simple tutorials will show you how (See Information)
Proof:

  • ALL CREDITS GO TO PCWIZ FOR THIS TUTORIAL AND METHOD

Is there a way i can convert this to a physical installation from within osx. As this pcwiz image runs perfectly. Apart from the fact i cant get ethernet working at all which is drive me a bit potty.

I tried mounting a the physical disk0s3 next to the 16.3gb virtual disk. For some reason i can see a 128gb disk containing two partitions disk0s1(Recover Drive 4gb), disk0s2(XP Installation(199gb) NTFS), but no disk0s3(30gb fat3gb)

The problem i had with trying to install kalyway 10.5.4 was disk1s2 (Write Locked)
this is my dvd not, my hard disk. The partition i mounted in VMware was disk0s3.

Im using vmware 6.5 beta I can go back to earlier version of 6 but not sure it would help.

Any ideas people? I'm gonna add another hard drive, I think if i format the new drive as HFS from within PCWIZ OSX disk util i should be able to to a VMware install am I right in saying this. Or is there an easier way.

I worked out why the drive is showing incorrectly

4gb(restore disk0s1), 199gb(xp but showing as 128gb because 71gb of data exists stored in NTFS. But has no problem reading free space), 30GB intended OSX partition.

The other thing i noticed there is a "remote install osx" (forgot where i saw it now) application, i never tried this but if i had two simultaneous virtual machines running Could i install osx remotely on the other virtual machine that has a physical disk mounted?

Actually thinking of that now that would be the ideal solution can this be done?

Right got my network working through my router somehow loading the ARP binding at router level directly to the mac address of the Vmnet0, using Bridge connection still shows as inactive but i have a consistent network connection which is a little strange.

Browsing isnt an issue, How do i update from 10.5.2 pcwiz to 10.5.3 i tried 10.5.4 which screwed my installation twice, so did downloading the apple 10.5.3 combo update from theyre site.. main reason is to install the iphone sdk which is 10.5.3 only.

IF some could help with this id appreciate
