what can i do? my ipod stuck in recovery mode and when i plug it in the computer says usb device doesnt regonaize

yeah. I have the same problem. itunes does not reconize it. I cant even restore it.

My kid put accidently a security code on her IPOD and forgot it, now she has a paperweight. I havent been able to unlock it for her.

same problem here. restore mode but pc doesn't recognize it.

could try to reinstall itunes

also try to put it in dfu mode:

connect to pc
hold home and power button for 10 exact seconds
after 10 seconds, let go off power button and hold home
hold home button until itunes recoganizes it

Keep in mind, that if you are in dfu mode, u'll have a black screen
