Folks, I hope no one feels annoyed too much with asking this:

I'm looking to get an iPod touch 32GB, the 1G are significantly cheaper to get than 2G models (I'm only looking for used models and I don't have much money to spend). Apart from lacking the internal speaker, the volume control buttons and the different casing, what differences remain between those two? Are there any applications not running on the 1Gs, what about firmware options …?

The 1G 32 GB is cheaper to get than a 2G 16GB models, the 8GB isn't really an option because with apps and music installed, you're likely to max out the RAM, as I can see from my mate.
