yeah is it possible for to use my ipod's wifi connection through my computer i would be cool that i could connect to my wireless network without buying anything extra

To be honest, I'm not sure what you are asking.
If you want to know if you can connect to the wifi network on which you already have your linux box, then of course: open up settings > Wireless connection (or something to that effect) and choose your network from the list.
If you want to know how to access your computer over wifi from your ipod, then you need to jailbreak it and download the terminal application. Launch the terminal and ssh into your computer.

seriously evn i can't understand wht u r up to... If u ve ur windows laptop connected to net by any means(lik wired or wireless) thn u can host a adhoc network frm your laptop n you can conntect your iTouch to tht adhoc network.. tis is how i use to connect my iTouch to d net..
