Hi, I have updated my Ipod touch to the firmware 2.0 (leaked) two days ago and it's working like a charm. The only thing I do not understand is that, since yesterday afternoon, gmail is not working. It appears that cannot connect to the server. But the funny thing is that it was working two days ago. I tried to re-set everything, but nothing. All the settings are correct (the same setting of when it was working). Any clue?

Try changing your password in gmail (using the normal web client from your mac or pc) then delete your email setting on the ipod and recreate it (using the standard gmail icon in mail rather than "other")

I had the same problem with "imap.gmail.com" not found. When I reset the password then recreated the account on my iPod, it all started working again.

As to why? - who knows *shrug*
