Here are the details:
*I am previously running a successfully jailbroken iPT 2G 2.2.1
*Read hundreds of threads on how to jailbreak firmware 3.0
*I was tempted to upgrade to OS 3.0 because already jailbreak-able, they say
*Upgraded my iTunes to 8.2
*Upgraded iPod Touch firmware to 3.0 (yeap I didn't restore it. I upgraded directly when it was still a jailbroken 2.2.1)
*Successfully upgraded my iPT to 3.0
*Tried redsn0w 7.2 (FAILED, haven't seen "RAM UPLOADING", even the PINEAPPLE guy, stuck on black screen only)
*Restored iPT to have a fresh one
*Tried redsn0w 7.1 (FAILED, haven't seen "RAM UPLOADING", even the PINEAPPLE guy, stuck on black screen only)
*Restored AGAIN iPT to have a fresh one
*Tried redsn0w 7 (FAILED, haven't seen "RAM UPLOADING", even the PINEAPPLE guy, stuck on black screen only)
*DOWNGRADED iTunes to 8.1
*DOWNGRADED also my firmware from 3.0 to 2.2.1 (just making sure to have a really real real fresh iPT)
*UPGRADED again my iTunes to 8.2.
*RESTORED my iPT using firmware 3.0
*Tried redsn0w versions 7,7.1,7.2
*STILL NO LUCK (yeah what a pain in the a**)
*AND I'M STUCK ON iPT 3.0 (not jailbroken) AND TIRED!!!



CAN ANYONE HELP ME ON THIS? CAN ANYONE POST SOME LINKS OR PM ME SOME LINKS OF FIRMWARE 3.0 THAT ARE JAILBREAKABLE? I CAN'T AFFORD TO SPEND $9 ON IT. OR A WORKING REDSN0W?

sorry this works fine with my iPT 2g. i did the same as you, upgrade from jailbroken 2.2.1, then used redsn0w 0.7.2.....
