So I just went from PCs and Zunes to Mac`s and ipods like a week ago. I actually just got the touch 3 days ago so Im still in the learning process.

So last night I installed ipod version 3.0 then jail broke it using redsn0w. How the hell do you get files on it once it is jail broken? All I have is cydia for new icons.

I downloaded Nes from cydia (so its on the touch) but I cant figure out how to get the ROMS on the touch. I also Downloaded a few more games on my Mac but again, Have no idea how to get them on the touch. I spent a few hours last night searching and also about an hour today ALL the tutorials I can find say use the installer.app icon on your touch but I dont have one.

Is there a way to put files on your touch that dosnt use installer.app?

Yes I know the thread below mine is about a missing installer file. I didnt want to hijack.

You have to use Cydia or Icy which is Cydia but quicker. Make sure you have installed all the repositories and then refresh. I don't know if the Rom guys have caught up to 3.0 yet. There's still alot to be done for upgrades on it. I'm thinking of going back to 2.2.x.

Everything worked on it! I hate not having winterboard! I do luv copy and paste but then I had it already.... I trying to remember why I bothered to upgrade to 3.0.

If you don't have a wireless connection, you can use InstallerApp, by the RipDev Team. That is pretty much like a jailbroken AppStore.
