Hi all,
I'm very new to the unlocking and jail breaking of these phones and I really don't want to mess up my phone.
I have an jail broken and unlocked 3G version 2.2 and a baseband of 02.28.00with yellowsn0w 0.9.8 installed .

I can use another sim card with this phone no problem.
What I was wondering how do I go about updating to 3.0 software without loosing the ability to use other sim cards.

Restore to 3.0 (iTunes 8.2), RedSn0w and then UltraSnow. And that's it.

I was able to use other sim card with this phone with no problem.
Now i used iTunes 8.2 to update to 3.0 and have been unable to jailbreak as well as unlock.

tried pwnage tool 3.0 but no success.
tried redsnow but no success.

please help

redsnow 0.7.2 or the newer 0.8 should be able to jailbreak your 3G running firmware 3.0. Select install cydia.

After jailbreak, run cydia, add source repo666.ultrasn0w.com if needed then download ultrasn0w to unlock
