I have a question..since the custom.ipsw saves your current settings so that your current baseband does not get updated, would it be possible to downgrade the firmware to 2.2 and use the same method of upgrading to 2.2.1 using the pawnage tool but using someone elses custom.ipsw file? Just an idea. I would like to try it if anyone has thier custom file that I could test this out with...I would appreciate it...unless this is definately not possible.
Again I have no idea if those custom FW files are interchangeable... I would think so since they are all iphones. Mark |

Hi
![]() Im not sure I totally understand your question, but custom firmware doesn't/wouldn't downgrade your baseband version if thats what you,re thinking.
