Hello,
The question I have is, I am planning to buy a 3g iphone and the guy has 02.30.03 as the modem firmware, so clearly he has updated to the latest firmware which updated the modem base band to 02.30.03 but he bought the ihpone in August 2008. Does that mean it would still have the old 5.8 boot loader or updating to the newest firmware would have updated the boot loader as well? Would like to know, because if the boot loader is still at 5.8 than i can downgrade the modem base band. Thanks for any help, appreciate any replies. |

The only way to make sure is if you can get your hands on the iPhone. Check here: iClarified - iPhone - How to Check Your iPhone Bootloader Version (Windows) and here iClarified - iPhone - How to Check Your iPhone Bootloader Version (Mac)
