I Bought my Iphone 3G a while back, its an American model and im trying to Unlock and Jailbreak it to work in the UK.
i managed to unlock my 2G a few years back but have had no luck with this one.
and i dont really know 100% what i'm doing can anyone help?

Settings say

VERSION : 2.0.2 (5C10

Modem Firmwire 02.08.01

dont know if that means anything?
if any more information is needed to help me juat ask me.

followed the instructions, and where the network should be it shows 1 bar then changes to "No Service"

Did you install YellowSn0w?. Also, please post your current FW and baseband

Thanks. Please, check the tutorial again. Especially this part:

"Before you can follow these instructions you must have a jailbroken iPhone and you must be on the 02.28.00 baseband(modem firmware). This means that you must be running the 2.2 firmware"
