Default Free Internet after Yellowsn0w update (T-Mobile)?

Hi all,

Don't know if anyone else has seen this, but after updating my iPhone 3G (yellowsn0w update) i'm on T-Mobile not o2, but, i seem to get a connection to the internet without enabling my wifi or 3G connection. If i enable the 3G connection then data transfer is very quick and web pages load fast. if i disable the 3G then a small circle will appear (is this edge or BT cloud?) and i am still able to get online, although data transfer is slow.. I have checked my phone balance and so far it has not moved.

Carrier: T-Mobile
Country: UK
iPhone : 3G, 8GB

Sounds cool! Which plan are you on with T-Mobile? The small circle is for GPRS, the slowest connection, you will get it in most parts of London where there is no 3G, EDGE (the E symbol on your phone) If you switch off 3G and there is no EDGE then you will get GPRS. The cloud will show up as the normal wifi connection.
