Try this smart script i made to install the 3G unlock straight from your computer without messing with Cydia and Installer.

It supports all 4 methods of the unlock in very easy 1 button click. just choose your method and click "hAck", then follow the on-screen instructions.

you can also remove all the unlock traces from your iPhone by selecting "Revert".

Great program if someone just made same like this for iphone Becouse you wont allways be near to your computer.
I'm familiar with many programming systems but with iphone havent done nothing.

I can write code what is how it should work so if someone just converts it to iphone and makes an app from it.

I'm hapy to see there is many other people also trying their best.

The Yellowsn0w works with me on 3G/EDGE calls outgoing incoming sms outgoing incoming But:
when ever i restart my iphone the 4 dots are there with no network name when i use Terminals apps in iphone doesnt work like TouchTerm or pTerm everytime i go to step yellowsn0w -q it stops responding but when i use Terminal through WinSCP Tunnel and follow the steps to yellowsn0w it close's for no responding 15 seconds then turn on airplane mode then off it works again!
why doesnt my apps in iphone works like the Terminal in WinSCP through the Tunnel?

hi guys,

anyone using successfully etisalat SIM?

I tried every methods on each YS relaease and no success so far!

I always have the small dots then after few minutes "no signal"

when going airplane mode on and off, for 1s I getting searching message then again the dots and....you know the rest...

any clue?

I have an O2 8GB purchased in Northern Ireland and I'm trying to use it in the Republic on a PAYG Vodafone SIM. Last night I was trying to get it to work using ver. 0.9.1 to no avail. This morning I was happy to see ver. 0.9.4 was out. It worked right after the install and first reboot. All I had to do was switch on plane mode for about 10 seconds and switch it off again.

I'm able to send and receive texts. I can receive incoming calls, BUT I can't make outgoing calls

Whenever I try to make an outgoing call it says call failed and I'm kicked off the network and have to do the plane thing to get back "online".

I had the same problem on Vodafone Ireland.

Boot up the phone with another sim, e.g. o2 prepay is what I used. When it shows the o2 network I remove the sim and put in my Vodafone sim.

It picks up the Vodafone network and I can make calls and use the phone as normal.

Might be worth a try. The only pain is it has to be done on every reboot.

Hopefully a fix will be out soon.
