According to the comments on their blog, you're not alone.
You can't do much than wait for more information on this, since it has just been released...

I'm not sure if i should try it out, since i would have to upgrade my baseband first :\

It worked, however the cydia source seemes like a bit problematic. Use installer, it works like a charm.

Maybe everyone that's having problems should post here with some information about there Sim network & location to see if a pattern starts to develop.

Worked perfectly from Cydia for me. One problem to report, if you have MakeitMine applied to change the carrier you may experience a conflict,I had to remove the personalised carrier name and after that the Vodafone SIM worked immediately.
If you are having problems try reinstalling yellowsn0w and follow dev teams instructions on reboot, SIM out and in.
Sooooh happy!

An Update on the Dev Blog that may help

Quote:
UPDATES

1. Soon you’ll see yellowsn0w 0.9.1 in the repos. It uses a much longer delay to let your SIM card initialize. If you have problems with 0.9.0, try this one and wait a full minute after you seem homescreen, then reinsert sim card. We need both success and failure reports to tune this across the world, so please be patient (but please also report result!)

Default what happen if it doesn't after you hv installed?

What happen if it doesn't work after you have installed?
Can we still use the Turbosim?
From my understanding most of the Turbosim solution doesn't work with Firmware 2.2.
If this is the case, how can we take this risk?
