Hi all

this is really weird: everything is working fine, except for ms word after I updated from 10.5.6 (or .4, i'm not sure) to .8

It's like something with the rendering fails... I move the cursor around and every few seconds the image of the current cursor stays at that place... the 'new' cursor stills keeps moving as I move the mouse, but the 'old' one stays like on the screen.

Also, when I type in something spelled wrong, it marks it (as always) with the underlining. I can right-click it and select the correct word, but it still shows the wrong one. If I now SELECT that word again, the display updates and shows the correction.

I have no idea how to fix that or what it is...
It used to work perfectly well before updating to .8

My config:
MSI Wind U100 (upgraded to 2gb, otherwise untouched)
Dual-boot: OS X 10.5.8 - Win XP
Bios: the one my netbook came with (bought in april 2009 and immediately installed the dual-boot)

Oh, the other thing that stopped working with .8 was the screen resolution which I fixed with some patch I got from MsiWind.net

Edit: I forgot to mention, I updated by just clicking on "Software Update..." (from the apple on the menu)
