Hi, I would like to transfer files between my computers, use the same printer, and go online. Both computers have firewire connections, I got the cable. I'm dual booting with XP on the hackintosh computer and I managed to successfully enable file sharing via firewire. Now I need to know how to do the same for the hackintosh. I tried setting up the IP address (192.168.0.1 with subset mask of 255.255.255.0); enabling file sharing; creating a folder on the desktop that has "share this folder" checked; and all I'm seeing on the other PC is "Mac" and random numbers following it. Also, how would I be able to connect to the PC from the hackintosh?
Thanks |
