i've istalled ideneb on my machine (everything went fine) but when the boot screen appears, it says: boot: MBR
boot: done

and it won't let me start up xp anymore

please help!!!!!

You need to repair XP bootloader with XP cd, just boot in your xp disc and repair the bootloader, one you boot into xp follow the sticky to manage the dualboot.
