Default Query: Boot W7, 10.6, Ubuntu Separate HDDs, EFiX Chip and some hardware questions

Previously I have only ever owned macs ordered directly from the apple store. My iMac G5 recently died and I am looking into the option of building a machine. I have never tried multi-boot before, so I do not entirely understand it, but it is definitely my preference in this machine.

I am looking at the EFiX v1.1 chip in order to boot multiple operating systems (on separate HDDs) but there are some hardware compatibility issues that I am finding restricting. Here's the machine I'd like to build and what I need to know:

The machine:
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P Motherboard
Intel Core i7 920 CPU
4x1TB HDD
GeForce GTX 285 2GB Vid. Card (GV-N285OC-2GI)
12 GB DDR3 SDRAM
Windows 7 Ultimate
OSX 10.6
EFiX V1.1

1. I've heard a rumor that someone got the EFiX v1 to work with the GeForce GTX 285 but have not been able to find any other info on it, any ideas?

2. I prefer to be able to get automatic OSX 10.6 updates via the EFiX, but would you recommend a different method? (Silly question on these forums I suppose)

3. If anyone recommends a different method by which to boot all three operating systems (from separate HDD's if possible), what will I have to do in order to get the method to work, what are the pros and cons, and will that method work with my desired hardware?

Basically I want a separate operating system on 3 of my HDDs and if possible I want to be able to accept OSX10.6 updates (and if I can't accept them I'd like to know how to disable them), and I want it all to work with the above hardware (the EFiX included in that list only in the case that it works with the rest of the hardware). Could anyone guide me through this and give me some opinions?

Well you should be able to install, dunno if Efix support Snow atm, you have to check their site, you can follow the guide for snow in the snow section - Install.

To dual/triple boot you need to install chamaleon 2 and set your OS and for video check netkas site ;D
