Hi all,

i recently purchased a HP mini 110-1030 (similar to the 1000) and i want to dual boot it with 10.5.8 leopard and XP

I dont want to wipe my current xp

Is there a way of dual booting os x and XP by just partitioning the hard drive and installing OS x on the empty partition and keeping my current XP?

I a newbie at hackintosh so plz help.

Yeah, you need to make 2 partitions 1 for WinXP, 1 for OSX./

Install XP in your primary partition, then Install OSX, fix XP bootloader that change your boot.ini, follow the sticky for more info.

Yes but I want to keep my current XP configuration an settings and files etc

Theres programs to shrink your HDD, but its kinda risky, try with partition magic or acronis and cross your fingers
