Default Creating a VM of my Mac OS X off my G3 PowerBook

Hello,

I have the following idea that I would like to realise if possible:

I have a G3 PowerBook running Mac OS X 10.4.11 and would like to put this in a virtual machine on my P4 Intel machine running (any distribution) of linux. (Although I might accept Windows as a host system

After searching for some while, I have only come up with PearPC that can run Mac OS X as guest (Comparison of platform virtual machines - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).

My questions are:
1. How to create an image of the Mac OS X? (for that I can hook up the HDD to the PC-> dd is not the tool of choice for creating an image, is it?)
2. Is there any VM that would be able to load Mac OS X as a guest OS?
3. Where to start reading up on that topic?

I hope there will be some responses and thank you in advance if you do respond

BTW: I would need a network connection, but multimedia, 3D, webcams and so on is not needed..
