Default Dual boot on different hard drives?

Hello,

I've got a brand new hard drive that I've installed ipc 10.5.6(that was not easy) on it. Now my problem is that on my first hard drive there is xp but I can't access it anymore.

When I installed osX, I just unplugged my first sata drive from the motherboard.

Any idea of how I can fix this without screwing my osx install?

Many thanks!

if they are on different drives, then i'd imagine it's just a case of swapping the boot order back in the bios?

if for some odd reason the MBR of the XP drive has been f***ed up, then you will need the xp cd to repair it.

Default How did it mess up your xp drive?

Hi,
I'm going to attempt a similar setup where I already have Vista on one SATA drive and just bought a new SATA drive for my retail/boot132 install.

I figure that unplugging the Vista drive while installing Leo would make it impossible to mess Vista?

How could your XP drive be effected if it was unplugged?
Were you able to repair it using XP CD?

Thanks
