Ok first of all, I am new here so hi!
![]() Second of all, I've tried searching around for this but I haven't found what I'm looking for - when I try and launch my iPC 10.5.6 Final dvd that I burned (to install Mac os x) it loads up fine but then after a few minutes into loading up everything from the dvd my computer just turns off. It happens both when I try a verbose boot and a normal boot from the dvd. The funny thing is that this prompted me to go and look through my bios setup, I didn't change anything but a few minutes into looking at that my computer just turned off again. Now everytime I access the cd or my bios my computer will just turn off by itself after a few minutes. ![]() But I can still load up my copy of Vista fine and if I boot of my copy of Knoppix Linux live cd that I have. My PC is as follows: - It is a Toshiba Equium A210-17l Laptop - AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-58 Processor (1.9GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache) - 2 GB Memory - 160 GB Hard Drive - ATI RADEON X1200 Graphics Card - Has a phoenix technologies bios - Has an ATI chipset I'm fairly new installing mac os x on a pc, if this problem hadn't turned up then I would have been able to sort the rest out myself, but no, it has to happen to me - meh! its just life...Thanks in advance Brad |
