I posted this on another forum and haven't gotten any help, so I'll try here. Thanks in advance for any help.

My latpop is:

HP dv2416
AMD Turion x2
GeForceGO 6150 video card
Broadcom4312 wi-fi
NForceLan
CoxenantHD Audio


I've installed Leo4All4.1 and it seems ok. Put in the kexts to get display to 1280X800. Have a few issues though:



1. Can't boot without a flag. Sometimes I have to use -f, sometimes -s, sometimes -f -x -v cpus=1. I can NEVER boot without the disk in the drive. Why and how do I fix it? I want it to boot up like a normal OS should. *Got it to boot without install DVD in drive, still need flag though...I've also updated to Chameleon RC3 & voodoo kernel 9.5.*


2. Wi-Fi and Ethernet do not show up. I installed NvidiaForceEthernet.kext and still nothing. This will be pointless without internet access. I found this: Broadcom bcm43xx wireless driver [beta] - InsanelyMac Forum and will be trying that out in a few. Any tips in the meantime? *Got ethernet working, still no wi-fi....*


3. Sometimes my laptop just shuts down. I've been super hard on her and she's gonna die soon, just want to be sure that it's not maybe something wrong with OsX. *For some reason trying to adjust the trackpad/keyboard/mouse settings causes system preferences to quit also. Then the machine starts acting weird...*



Here's what I chose in customize for Leo:



I feel like I'm so close to having this working properly it's driving me nuts!! I also can't boot without hitting esc and choosing a drive to boot from. If I try to let it go straight through without doing that I get a message saying somet like, "System can't find com.apple.boot.plist". That's driving me nuts too. I tried to install Chameleon RC3 the other day, but would then only get the boot0 and startup and couldn't get anything else so I just reinstalled Leo. I just re-did the RC3 install and it went okay. Now I get the "hibernate image too old" message even though I never hibernate. I think it's somet to do with restart/shutdown which doesn't seem to work properly. Also, now it hangs at the "Skipping blacklisted kexts for don't steal mac", it's also enabling a firewire even though I don't have one...Any tips or pointer or answers would be very appreciated.
