Default Help with iDeneb install on Asus

Hello all,

I have recently purchased an Asus 1005HA netbook and over the past week have been attempting to Hackintosh it but i am having zero luck.

I have tried many different ways and i have tried iDeneb 1.4 and 1.5 but i cannot get either to work, though 1.5 seems to go further but doesn't give me the same customisation options that 1.4 does.

I have mainly been following these two guides, MacEee: Installing Mac OSX Leopard on Asus EeePC 1005HA and Installing Hackintosh on an EeePC 1005ha - iPod touch Fans forum but i can't get either of them to work completely.

The first link i have tried with 1.5 and it installed iDeneb OK but when it restarted it loaded chameleon but it just hangs on the Apply logo, this is after booting with rd=disk0s1 -v -f. I have also tried this method with version 1.4 but it still doesn't work. I am burning these versions to DVD.

I have also tried both methods above on a USB drive but buggered if it will even install iDeneb. I have also tried the second link on the thumb drive but once again it will not boot up off the drive.

If someone can provide some more assistance that would be brilliant as i think it will work but all these guides on the internet miss instructions here and there and make it hard.

Yes the mouse trackpad works fine, but a USB connected mouse does not work.
